A PERFECT RETREAT…to restore and rejuvenate

We go on and on in circles to keep up with the very fast paced life we are living in these days. The need to keep up with our own expectations and the expectations of others takes a toll on our emotional, mental and physical well- being. Most people choose to ignore their feelings and move on as if everything is alright. Not addressing these issues at the right time can lead one to a burn out and go completely out of FLOW.

We all want to be successful in all areas of our lives be it personal, relationship or work/finances. When there is a disconnect in any of these area, we tend to lose grip or the balance in life. How can you regain that balance? Yes!  by just stepping back.

“LIFE” –Living in a Fun Environment

The purpose of life is to live to the fullest with freedom and passion. Life is not to be taken seriously. We must make the best out of this gift called “LIFE” – Living in a Fun Environment. It is only THEN, we are LIVING, otherwise we are just going through life with no fun, excitement, motivation or purpose. We humans are great CREATORS and it’s a gift given to us to CREATE and GROW! If we don’t create then it is like keeping that GIFT all packed up in a box. To re-create that fun, just Re-Treat which actually means step back. Take a break and PLAY. Being in a PLAYFUL MINDSET brings you to a no fear zone. Anything can be achieved when we go beyond fear.

You may think that if you step back you will lose out, which is not true. Stepping back gives CLARITY.

Re-Cognise, Re-Lease and Re-Create

If you feel confused with no clarity to make the right decision, then it’s time for a reality check. It feels like you are being surrounded by clutter, be it the mind, emotions or space. Everybody has fear e.g. fear of being ridiculed, fear of being hurt and so on. One of the biggest fear people have is the FEAR of FAILURE. When we are in the fear zone, it is hard to see the light on the other side, thus preventing us to try a new path.

So the easiest thing people do is to ignore and continue than to deal with a situation. We just pick ourselves up and move on by not addressing what we really feel. Feelings makes us humans. Do not ignore THAT human in you.

By stepping back, you will be able to Re-cognise what is or was going wrong. Ask yourself if you have committed to more than you can  deliver. Step out of the circle and observe, with an Observer’s mind, as a third person. When you recognise, you will have more clarity and that is when you will be able to Re-lease to regain that balance. And this will lead you to Re-Create by choosing with power and prioritize the important things that matter to you. Once you master this and re- fill your thoughts with positive emotions in a Flow State, your outlook towards life will change for the better to fulfil your purpose.

The 3 steps to go beyond FEAR is to

  • Recognise -OBSERVE and acknowledge your feeling
  • Release- Find ways and means to release all that is going on
  • Recreate- Recreate through your Flow State

Change your surroundings to Re- connect

“When you feel the days are going slow and monotonous then change your daily routine, when you feel you are not getting anywhere with your work load then a break, when you feel frustrated then get out into nature, when you feel lethargic then take a walk”.

Changing an activity, a routine or your surroundings can be a powerful way to simulate new thinking, break unsupportive habits, adapt better to change and definitely a great way to de- stress and reconnect with yourself. There are so many small ways to reconnect. One of the best way to regain that balance is to attend retreats.

Heal, Restore and Rejuvenate with Retreats

People who attend regular retreats are generally happy people with a positive outlook towards life. You can call it a holiday but with an intention and that is to focus on your own well- being. At a retreat your day is planned with a time for everything from the time you wake up till you go to bed to restore and rejuvenate.

The best thing about a retreat is having a Teacher, a  Mentor or a  MOTIVATOR to guide you through the PROCESS OF UNWINDING with Nourishment for the Body, MIND and SOUL through focused activities, coaching sessions, movements, visualisations, meditations,  connecting with nature and more.

Being in Naturehelps you be in the present.  A walk in the woods, the feel of the earth under your soles, the heat of the Sun, the water, the fresh air are all elements that heals the physical body, calms the mind and lift up your spirit

Being part of a Community with likeminded people who has similar interest helps you to bond at a deeper level not only with them but also with yourself. It’s a great way to make new friends who will support, motivate and inspire you in a safe space.

Retreats for Long Term benefits

Your Emotions, Mind, Physical Body and Spirit are mostly impacted when certain areas in your life faces challenges e.g.  in relationships, health, finances, stress etc. Retreats are special as it gives you the space to reflect. Clarity of the mind, finding your purpose, how to utilise your day productively, getting over anxiety & fear, time to think, letting go of unwanted thoughts and materialistic things, looking at life inside out, preventing a burnout etc. are some of the outcomes and long term benefits of participating in a retreat. You will go back with a sense of fulfilment with enough tools to get back with ease if you ever go off track.
